The AVEVA™ Plant SCADA Configuration course is a 4-day class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the AVEVA™ Plant SCADA software. It covers topics on designing Plant SCADA projects and becoming familiar with an integrated engineering interface called Plant SCADA Studio. The course specifically covers how to design a project from start to finish and configure various features, including equipment hierarchy. This interactive course includes hands-on practice with plant control, data collection, trending, and reporting. In this course, you will also learn how to apply, formulate and troubleshoot Cicode basic programming solutions for your SCADA project.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Create new projects based on the Situational Awareness Starter Project
- Use Plant SCADA to communicate with an I/O device
- Utilize the benefits of an equipment hierarchy
- Create graphics pages and manipulate graphics symbols
- Generate and manage alarms, trends and reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered during the course
